Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor. She was a part of a number of movies and television shows during her professional career. The model started out as a model but once she was recognized internationally, she decided to pursue acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she appeared in the show Baywatch Nights. Harmon also performs voice acting and voice-overs. The beginning of 2000 was when Harmon chose to focus solely film and stopped working in TV series. In the early 2000s, Harmon returned to television shows after a brief stint on film. In 2008, she was among the very few actresses that posed for Allure magazine with bare breasts. Her major work has been in the role of Detective Jane Rizzoli on TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles'. In her capacity as detective, she has been highly praised and received awards. Angie Harmon was nominated over several years due to her excellent performances, but has not won any awards.
