Ashley Graham is a Nebraskan born. Two of her sisters took care of her, however she was often bullied in the school because of her big thighs. Graham's attention deficit hyperactivity (ADH) was first diagnosed shortly after finishing elementary school. Graham overcame this obstacle and others during her childhood. Graham was discovered by a talent agency when she was just 12 in the Nebraska mall. Her picture was published in magazines and advertisements before the time she graduated from Lincoln Southwest High School. In the early days of Graham's modelling career, she was a model but her physique caused her to be unable to land modeling jobs. Graham had several offers for catalog models, however there was a belief that she wouldn't be able progress beyond basic projects. Fortunately, she was able to prove session casters wrong and the career of her choice grew rapidly. Sally Singer, the editor of "Vogue", interview her back in 2007. That was her first big success. In 2009, she was a guest on "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful At Any Size". Graham again made headlines by being featured in Lane Bryant's controversial commercial. The ad was later taken down in a number of countries. As the controversy grew her appearance in the Jay Leno show "The Tonight Show". Graham became a well-known as a plus-size model. Grande started performing and singing as a teenager. The role she won was 13 at Broadway in 2008 and began appearing in minor roles in television series. Her first major break in 2010, by appearing on Nickelodeon's TV show Victorious. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent who was enrolled in a school of performing arts. After the sitcom was canceled in 2013, she appeared in a spin-off series Sam & Cat (2013-14).
