Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. He combines soul gospel jazz with R&B to create a unique mix. She has performed on Broadway and during the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine is Denise White. While she's based in Atlanta however, her roots lie situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by as a singer and pianist at church. She attended Spellman College in Atlanta where she began her training within the Atlanta's R&B scene. The Fighting Temptations The single that featured her vocals,"Stalk You the House came out only in Japan. It's been remixed many times, and it is a mainstay in her live performance. Her voice was also added to the music of The Fighting Temptations. In 2005, she was commissioned to be the main keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice, asked Sunshine to join the Dreamgirls production during the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous throughout the four performances of 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing during Barack Obama's Inauguration in 2009.
